Gift Boxes: Goats Milk Soaps + Washcloths/Bags - Shop

Our gift boxes all contain either one or two of our hand-poured goats milk soaps (depending on which box you choose!) + 100% cotton handmade wash-cloth or bag and make the perfect gift.

Choose your personalised label from our 6 designs - for the larger boxes, these are displayed on the front of the box-lid, for the smaller boxes they are enclosed.

ALL of our soaps are goats milk and vegetable based (more info below the listings!), which is exceedingly "creamy" and moisturising, due to a very high glycerine content which provides a very pleasant skin feel.  These are particularly effective for relief from a number of skin conditions and we've had some excellent feedback.

Our cotton wash-cloths and bags are all handmade for us by the lovely Little Lucy Locket and are all 100% cotton.  These are far softer on the skin than the conventional "flannel" and have the added bonus that they don't actually "go hard" when dry!

All have a handy hanging hook.  The cloths are obviously a stand-alone product, for the bags: simply pop your bar of soap inside the bag, pull and tie the draw-string to close.  Then use as you would an "ordinary" flannel.  When you're done: you can hang to dry and no more "soggy-soap" next time you need to use it.

All products in our gift boxes are individually wrapped in sealed packaging.

Goat milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid which help remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface. This leaves new cells on the surface of your skin that are smoother and younger looking. The alpha-hydroxy acids are so effective because they break down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together. Removing dead skin cells will help many skin conditions by removing irritation. Water-based soaps may use harsh chemical acids to accomplish this, frequently with skin-damaging results.

Goat milk contains many vitamins, but is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue, and maintain healthy skin. There have been several medical studies showing that creams made with Vitamin A reduce lines and wrinkles, control acne, and provide some psoriasis relief. Water-based soaps can be artificially fortified with vitamins, but most aren’t.

Fat molecules are an important part of making good soap. The cream that is present in goat milk helps boost the moisturising quality of goat milk soaps. Since many people suffer from dry skin, particularly in the winter months, this is an important quality for soap. Goat milk soap will not dry your skin out like many other soaps. This is important because keeping skin naturally moisturised helps keep skin healthy.
